Dispatcher – Transportation and Towing

Job Summary

We are looking for dynamic, organized, and resourceful dispatchers to join our dispatch team. You will play a central role in coordinating our specialized transport and light and heavy towing operations. You will be responsible for efficiently distributing service calls, tracking the movements of units in the territory, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, customers, and partners.

Duties and responsibilities

Answer incoming calls (customers, partners, law enforcement, etc.)
Handle requests for towing or transportation and assign jobs to available units.
Track vehicle movements in real time via our geolocation system
Prioritize emergencies and optimize routes
Communicate with drivers to ensure operations run smoothly.
Maintain accurate records and complete intervention forms
Provide professional, prompt, and courteous customer service.
Collaborate with other dispatch team members and supervisors

Requirements

Experience in dispatching or a similar position (transportation, towing, or logistics)
Excellent stress management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good geographical knowledge of the area (Montreal and surrounding areas)
Proficiency with computer tools (dispatch systems, GPS, etc.)
Bilingualism (French/English) required

Compressed schedule: possibility of completing the equivalent of full-time work in 3 days
