Driver/Light Towing Operator – Highway Sector

Job Summary

We are looking for a light tow truck driver/operator to join our team in Dorval. The position involves performing towing operations mainly on the highway network in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec, the Ministry of Transportation, and various roadside assistance companies. You will play an essential role in ensuring safety and efficiency during emergency responses.

Duties and responsibilities

Towing light vehicles that have broken down, been involved in an accident, or committed an offense
Respond quickly and safely on the highway network
Work closely with the Sûreté du Québec, the MTQ, and roadside assistance providers.
Perform pre-shift checks on the tow vehicle (basic mechanical inspection)
Provide courteous and professional service to customers and authorities.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum, Class 3 an asset)
No criminal record or history of criminal activity (mandatory verification)
Experience in towing or transportation (an asset, training provided)
Good physical condition and tolerance to outdoor conditions
Initiative, reliability, and ability to handle stress in emergency situations
