Heavy Tow Truck Driver/Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for heavy tow truck drivers/operators to join our specialized response team. You will tow and recover heavy vehicles (trucks, buses, specialized trucks, etc.) in various situations, often urgent ones. This position requires strong technical skills, good judgment, and a high level of professionalism.

Duties and responsibilities

Towing heavy goods vehicles that have been involved in accidents, broken down, or seized
Participate in complex recovery operations (rollovers, major collisions, etc.)
Use the equipment provided effectively
Work in collaboration with law enforcement, the Department of Transportation, emergency services, and customers.
Fill out intervention reports and ensure compliance with procedures
Inspect equipment before each shift and report any defects.
Apply safety measures at all times, both on the road and in the work area.

Requirements

Driver’s license (Class 5 minimum, Class 1 or 3 an asset)
Experience driving heavy vehicles
Heavy towing experience required
Good physical condition and ability to work in demanding conditions (weather, variable hours, emergencies)
No criminal record (verification required)
Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and ability to remain calm under pressure
